In the UK we have sold over 20 Hawkley Red Angus bulls to work in commercial herds, mostly for breeding suckler replacements, and being used on breeds such as South Devon, Sussex, Simmental and Red Poll. The US Red Angus is one of the four foundation breeds of the Stabiliser composite, and some of our bulls are being used in Stabiliser herds. The quiet temperament of the Red Angus comes through in the Stabiliser which is gaining a reputation for its docility. We have also exported bulls to Ireland and France since 2006. As Red and Black Angus are the same breed, the reds are registered with the Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society in Perth, and qualify for Angus premium beef schemes. A Selection of Herd Females |
